Description
Water escapes through the rocks of Smith Creek of the Boxley Valley area of Newton County, Arkansas. The creek is popular for numerous small waterfalls, cascades, and sping wildflowers. Thea area is also home to the largest colony of Indiana bats in Arkansas. To reach Smith Creek from the Boxley Valley area, drive south, around 3 miles from the Boxley Baptist Church, and look for the entrance, red gate, and parking area on the left.
